Emerging Choreographers Project 

Our Emerging Choreographers Project is a mentored program for young choreographers to create a short dance work in collaboration with their peers.  

In 2024 our choreographers are: 

AKIRA BYRNE, ALEX POTTER, ARSHIYA ABHISHREE, CALYPSO EFKARPIDIS, CHARLIE THOMSON, CHRIS WADE, JAHNA LUGNAN, MAGNUS MEAGHER and SAM TONNA. 

Each choreographer is supported by professional artists to rehearse and present these works. 

Join us for a performance of these dynamic new works.

The Emerging Choreographers 2024 Program includes sudden, loud sounds and flashing lights.

Please note, the work A destination should not be expected includes medical and bodily references that may be confronting for some viewers, as well as themes of infertility.

QL2 Dance recommends this production for ages 12+. Younger audience members may attend at the discretion of their parent/guardian.
