Within a cavernous concrete bunker, we prepare to make a slippery descent.

METTLE is a raw, powerful performance created by choreographers Alice Lee Holland and Jack Ziesing, in collaboration with thirteen young dance artists from Kamberri.

A gritty soundscape by Sascha Budimski and immersive visuals by Creswick Collective, surround the tight-knit ensemble as they encounter challenges seemingly insurmountable.

Through grit and pressure comes evolution.

METTLE is a contemporary dance performance with video elements that surround the performance space. While the overall work is abstract, METTLE will include moods, sounds and choreographic qualities that some audience members may find unsettling. The performance is suitable for audiences aged 8+ or with parental discretion.

Please note, there will be moments of total blackout and strobing visuals.

Pricing information

  • Standard tickets are $40.

  • Concession tickets are $35.

    Valid concessions are: Pension card, Full time student, U18.

  • Members of Quantum Leap Australia are entitled to 1 ticket at $28 per member. Members will have to provide their name at the time of booking.

  • Members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community are able to access tickets for $30.

  • Each performance has 10 tickets available at a base price of $15. If this allocation has been exhausted but you would still like to access it, please send us an email: admin@ql2.org.au.
