"Choice Cuts" Soft Landing showings next week! Fri & Saturday
QL2 Centre for Youth Dance presents a work-in-progress show-and-tell
 
Choice Cuts -- Directed by Solon Ulbrich
The soft landing dancers
11 dancers from across Australia present the results of
4 weeks of collaborative creative development
communicating on the topic of ‘choices’.

 
Friday 28 March @ 6.30pm
Saturday 29 March @ 2pm & 6.30pm
QL2 Performance Space, Gorman House Arts Centre, Ainslie Ave, ACT

Each showing will be approximately 45 minutes and will be followed by an audience Q & A forum.

Ql2's "Soft Landing" gives graduate dancers from tertiary courses around Australia a chance to find their feet in a mentored development project in Canberra.

Soft Landing 1 in 2008 involves 11 dancers:   
Amy Macpherson (VCA), Angela Goh (QUT),
Chrissy Norford (QUT), Dean Cross (QUT),
James Welsby (VCA), Laura Boynes (WAAPA),
Luke Hickmott (WAAPA), Natalie Abbott  (VCA),
Patricia Wood (WAAPA), Sofie Burgoyne (WAAPA),
and  Stephanie Harper (AC ARTS),
directed by  Solon Ulbrich, assisted by Amelia McQueen.

Choice Cuts - Friday 28 March
Last night's premiere @ QL2 was exciting : great to see contemporary at it's best - more then worth seeing it twice! ... tonight's show at 6.30pm, would not miss it for anything; thank you.
