Performances 18-19 October 2019
An awesome opportunity for young dancers (8–18) to work with great choreographers, contribute ideas and perform in a new show!
Power– What is power? Who has it? Who abuses it? Youth power, girl power, people power… together we are stronger. The power to make changes to our own lives, to our own destiny.
Choreographers: QL2 Alumni and teachers and Australian Dance Party members Steve Gow, Olivia Fyfe and Alana Stenning.
Performances Friday 18 October 11am, 1pm & 6pm and Saturday 19 October 3pm & 6pm atTheatre 3, Acton. Suitable for families, primary & secondary students.
Rehearsals on Sunday 8, 15, 22 Sept, intensive during October school holidays.
Every year we run a creation and performance project for younger and less experienced dancers. The Chaos project allows dancers to collaborate with choreographers and fellow dancers, develop creative and dance skills, and build confidence in a challenging yet fun environment. For many, the Chaos project is a preparation for our Quantum Leap ensemble in later years. And plenty of older dancers are involved: challenging themselves, and inspiring younger ones.
