Place, belonging, identity and struggle: Ruth on ‘Hit the floor together’

2013 QL2 Hit the Floor Intensives Day 1 000_469Vanessa Wright interviewed Artistic Director Ruth Osborne among all the hubbub of workshopping Hit the floor together in  QL2’s studio in Canberra.  Not long till opening night!

“It’s important to us that we have a wonderful production, but it’s also about what sort of values the dancers have learnt. Some of them will go on to have professional careers in dance, some of them won’t but. But they all have learnt a lot.”
